V325 lithium battery fire detector (hereinafter referred to as "the detector") integrates smoke, temperature, carbon monoxide, VOC, hydrogen and other measurement parameters in a highly integrated way. It has a wide range of applications and can comprehensively detect and analyze the thermal runaway characteristics of lithium batteries. Through analysis and judgment, warning and prevention devices for battery thermal runaway can be activated.
Adopting a miniaturized design, the detector can be installed on the top of energy storage containers, battery racks, and other scenarios, with the characteristics of small size, fine appearance, high sensitivity, strong stability, and fast response.
● Multiple signals such as carbon monoxide, temperature, smoke, VOC, or hydrogen can be detected.
● CAN bus communication protocol (RS485 communication shall be customized) is supported.
● Imported Renesas 32-bit high-speed microprocessor is adopted.

Operating principle of the detector
● The detector adopts the compound warning strategy. When the single detector gives a warning, it enters the warning state and lights up the warning LED (red) at the same time. After any two detectors give a warning, the detector enters warning status and lights up warning LED (red) at the same time, and starts the relay output (normally open contact). The conditions for entering the warning status can be set to any two, three or four detector warnings, adjusted as required (any two are factory default).
● The detector is in the preheating state within 5 minutes after being powered on, and it enters the operating state after reheating state is over. During preheating, the operation LED (green) is in flashing state. After preheating, the operation LED is always on.
Carbon monoxide detection — sensor based on the electrochemical measurement principle
● Carbon monoxide is detected by sensor based on electrochemical measurement principle. When carbon monoxide gas enters the carbon monoxide sensor, an oxidation-reduction reaction occurs inside the sensor, and the electrodes of the sensor undergo oxidation-reduction reactions respectively.
● The warning LED (red): After any two probes give an warning, the detector enters warning status and lights up warning LED (red) at the same time, and starts the relay output (normally open contact). The conditions for entering the warning status can be set to any two, three or four detector warnings, adjusted as required (any two are factory default).
Temperature detection – NTC temperature sensor
● NTC temperature sensor is used for temperature detection. The resistance of the sensor changes as the temperature changes. The changed signal is input to the internal ADC of the single-chip microcomputer after voltage change, and the single-chip microcomputer determines whether to send warning according to the detected temperature value.

Smoke detection — designed by principle of light scattering in conjunction with optical maze
● Smoke detection is designed by principle of light scattering in conjunction with optical maze. When there is no smoke, the emitted infrared light is emitted into the maze structure and absorbed. If smoke particles enter the optical maze detection area, the light will be scattered, which will be received by the photoelectric receiver to generate electrical signals. The higher the smoke concentration, the stronger the electrical signal. By detecting the voltage signal through ADC inside MCU, the MCU sends warning according to the corresponding relationship between the voltage signal and the smoke concentration.
VOC and hydrogen detection — chemical reaction between metal oxide semiconductor gas sensing layer and VOC gas or hydrogen gas
● VOC and hydrogen detection utilize the chemical reaction between metal oxide semiconductor gas sensing layer and VOC gas or hydrogen gas inside the sensor, where the resistance of the gas sensing layer changes. By detecting the voltage signal through ADC inside MCU, the VOC and hydrogen concentrations are calculated based on the corresponding relationship between the voltage signal and the VOC and hydrogen concentrations.
