Integrated Safety and Fire Protection Solution for Charging Shelters
With the frequent occurrence of electric vehicle fire incidents across the country, safety issues have become the focus of public attention. Electric bicycles have become the main mode of transportation for residents, providing convenience while also bringing significant safety hazards. Indoor charging, illegal charging with flying wires, and other violations can easily lead to fire accidents. Currently, some property management in residential areas have installed charging piles in the bike sheds, but due to the lack of firefighting capabilities, they pose a significant threat to residents' personal and property safety in the event of a fire.
Charging Safety Management System
1. The system mainly utilizes infrared multispectral image fire detectors to conduct visual abnormal monitoring of electric bicycle sheds, collecting video data in real-time and performing real-time analysis. When dangerous events such as temperature increases or flames are detected, alarms are immediately triggered through sound and light. At the same time, alarm information is uploaded to the control center via wireless WIFI, 4G/5G, and wired networks. A monitoring platform is established for real-time bidirectional transmission of video, images, voice, and data. This shifts the management model from "human defense" to "technical defense."
2. The system employs artificial intelligence for video intelligent analysis, effectively addressing the issues that traditional smoke sensors and flame sensors cannot alarm in outdoor environments, especially in windy conditions. It allows for early detection and early warning, as opposed to the rigid requirements of a certain concentration for smoke and a certain temperature for flames. The intelligent analysis of video can detect anomalies as soon as smoke and temperature changes occur, promptly informing the control center. This more effectively contains fire incidents in the initial stages, preventing the spread of fire in electric bicycle sheds and reducing economic losses.
Fire Extinguishing System
First Layer of Fire Protection
When the image detector detects a fire, it activates the corresponding zone's electromagnetic valve to spray extinguishing agents, while providing real-time site conditions to the monitoring backend and triggering sound and light alarms to notify on-site personnel to evacuate and inform security personnel to cut off power, preparing for the fire.
Second Layer of Fire Protection
Linear thermal sensors will be arranged on-site. When the temperature at the fire location reaches 70℃~80℃, the temperature-sensing cable will activate, simultaneously spraying extinguishing agents from four to five nozzles at the location of the self-igniting electric bicycle and adjacent positions.
Third Layer of Fire Protection
If there are failures in the sensor detectors on-site, the equipment has a zoned emergency start button. Pressing the emergency button for the fire area will activate the spraying of extinguishing agents from the nozzles in the area of the self-igniting electric bicycle. The emergency start button can be set in the monitoring room.
Fourth Layer of Fire Protection
In the event that all protection systems fail, the equipment has a manual pull ring. Pulling the ring will activate the spraying of extinguishing agents from four to five nozzles at the location of the self-igniting electric bicycle and adjacent positions.
