Comprehensive Utility Tunnel Image Fire Warning Plan


Project Introduction

The combustible materials in the underground comprehensive utility tunnel mainly consist of cables and pipelines. The main components are conductors, insulation layers, and protective sheaths. Commonly used materials include PVC cables and rubber cables. The optical cables mainly consist of plastic outer skins, plastic protective tubes, and optical fibers. Short circuits, ground faults, poor connections, and line overloads can all potentially lead to cable fires.

The wires and cables in the utility tunnel are concentrated in layers. If the upper layer of wires and cables catches fire, the high-temperature molten materials from PVC, rubber, etc., will quickly spread the flames to the lower layer of cables, optical cables, and pipelines. Once the lower layer of cables catches fire, hot smoke and thermal radiation will also quickly affect the upper layer of lines.

  Applicable to underground comprehensive utility tunnel power compartments and integrated compartments.

● In the complex natural environment of underground comprehensive utility tunnels, image-based smoke and fire detection technology has the capability to detect smoke and flames.

● Equipped with video monitoring capabilities, it has moisture-proof, dust-proof, anti-condensation, and high/low-temperature resistance functions.

  Smoke and fire detection, capable of identifying and detecting flames and smoke simultaneously.

● Utilizing image pattern recognition technology for fire detection based on video images, constructing a deep network for smoke and fire recognition based on transfer learning. It extracts the expressive features of flames using neural networks based on flame color, motion, texture, and spectral characteristics to achieve smoke and fire detection.

  Salt mist resistance / anti-condensation.

● The shell is designed with cast aluminum and anti-corrosion paint.

● The glass uses different materials for the front and back coatings, with the front preventing condensation and the back preventing fogging; meeting the requirements of complex environments in coastal cities.

  Provides visualization and can quickly locate.

● Has all-weather (with light and in complete darkness) smoke and flame detection capabilities; provides immediate warning when there is an open flame; whether during the day or at night, it will also provide timely warnings when smoke spreads.

● Response time according to the national standard "GB15631-2008 Special Fire Detectors" 4.4.1.2 should not exceed 20 seconds from the occurrence of a fire to the issuance of a fire alarm signal.

Square layout design.

Fire protection zone Type I (≤100 meters), using 1 image and linear beam composite fire detector, each detector is equipped with a beam emitting unit for smoke detection.

Fire protection zone Type II (100 meters ≤ II ≤ 200 meters), using 2 image and linear beam composite fire detectors, each detector is equipped with a beam emitting unit for smoke detection, as shown in the figure.

Fire protection zone Type III (>200 meters), using 3 image and linear beam composite fire detectors, each detector is equipped with a beam emitting unit for smoke detection, as shown in the figure.
